Food, merchant stands and children's activities will also be featured during Sunday's event.
Many might automatically think Irish when Celtic Day in Bristol is mentioned, because many borough residents with a Celtic background are of Irish descent. But the annual event also celebrates Scots, Welch and people from Brittany, France.
The Celtic Heritage Foundation incorporates all those regions that the Celtic occupied, the group's president, Mary McIlvain, said Wednesday.
This year's celebration will be held from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at Bristol's Lions Park near the Delaware River. Entertainment, food, merchant stands and children's activities will be available throughout the day.
"It's going to be a great time," McIlvain said.
Festival-goers should bring a lawn chair and blanket.
The Irish American String Band will be one of the day's performers. Traditional Irish music will be played by bands such as McHugh and Company and Paddy's Well.
Bagpiper Ian Ferrick will also take the stage.
The Fitzpatrick School of Irish Dance will perform Irish step dancing.
Celtic is a broad term. There's the Celtic language, religion and literature. The Celtic languages were used in Western Europe in Roman and pre-Roman times. Pre-Christian Celts didn't leave any writing because they highly trusted their memory.
On Sunday, a Celtic background is not required.
